Your Pet Has a Lot to Tell You”

Have you ever felt a deep connection with your pet but struggled to understand them? As an animal communicator, I bridge that gap. 🐾

Have you ever caught your pet staring at you with an intensity that made you wonder, 'What on earth are they thinking?' You’re not alone. Many pet owners feel this way, and as an animal communicator, I've learned how to bridge that communication gap.

I am Denise Dunlavy and I talk to animals without using words.  I use energy and get messages through my senses, like seeing images, hearing words or just knowing what an animal is thinking.  I know it is hard to believe but here is an example.  I once talked to a dog who showed me an image of a pillow that was green on one side and brown plaid on the other side.  Then the guardian sent me a picture of the view from the dog’s crate.  There was a green Oregon Ducks blanket on top of a brown blanket.  It wasn’t exactly the same but it was so similar that I knew I had connected to the dog to show me this.

You may be asking how this possibly works and I have the same question.  I don’t really understand how it all works but I know it is related to quantum physics. I apologize that I can’t explain more but I wasn’t the best science student.

Since I discovered that I can understand animals, I have made it my life’s purpose to help people improve their relationships with their pets.

Some of the main reasons people come to me for assistance are:

  • Behavioral Issues: Animal communication can help with behavioral concerns because it allows me to ask an animal why they are doing a certain behavior.  I communicated with a dog one time who was very well behaved but would always go crazy when the family was eating dinner.  When I asked why, he said that the cat is the favorite and dinner time is the only time when the cat isn’t around so he wants the attention then.  Once I know why they are doing this I can work with them to find a solution.  In this case we asked the dog to go to his bed during dinner in exchange for getting extra one-on-one attention before and after dinner.  It is not always that simple but I start by asking the animal if there is a reason and then we figure out if they can get their needs met in another way, ask them to change the behavior or try to negotiate and give them a reason to change the behavior.  Not all behaviors are “issues” though.  Sometimes things that annoy people are perfectly normal and natural for the animal.

  • Anxiety: Animals get anxiety just like people do and it can be in many different forms.  When I communicate with an animal who has anxiety I ask them what it feels like for them.  Sometimes it feels like worry or sometimes it feels like a sick feeling in the stomach.  It can also feel terrifying like it is in their whole body.  Depending on whether it is situational or maybe they have always had it, we can figure out the best way to address it.  Sometimes you can address their concerns to make them feel a little better but if they have trauma, they often need a lot more help.  If they are afraid of the car or something, it is often just best not to force them to go in the car.  I can ask if they think they will be able to get over it or if they know what will help. The animal may have suggestions on what will help the anxiety but often they don’t know themselves what to do about it.  If an animal needs extra help, Allie Phillips is an expert on animal essential oils who does consults to help people find the right products to help their pet.

  • Health issues: People often come to me when they know something is wrong with their pet but the vet can’t find anything wrong. I don’t diagnose any health issues but I can try to find out if there is an emotional issue that appears to be manifesting in a physical way.  I ask animals how they feel, what hurts and what the level of pain is.  A cat once told me that he was vomiting because his dad had a stomach issue and wouldn’t go to the doctor.  He was mirroring something back to them and once I passed on the message that dad was making an appointment and taking care of it, the cat stopped vomiting.  So it wasn't actually the cat’s health issue.  It was a message to the humans.

  • End of Life: One of the most difficult things of being a pet parent is when we outlive them. There usually comes a time when guardians need to deal with the passing of a pet.  It can be very helpful to communicate and ask them when they are ready to go or what they need when they are in the process of dying.. This way it can be a group effort and decision to remove some of the guesswork and guilt that pet parents often feel.

  • Connecting with animals who have passed: I also use animal communication with pets who have passed.  They are pure energy and love and they always have a lot to say! Some of the things they talk about are:

*What it feels like where they are

*Who they are with, both animal or human

         *What signs they are sending

*Why they passed when they did

*What it felt like when they passed (if the person
        wants to know)

         *What are their favorite memories

*What was their purpose in life

*Other messages they want to share with their
          loved ones

Animal communication may seem a little weird but it can help in a lot of different ways to understand your pet better because you can get to know their thoughts, feelings and emotions.
